It’s a healthy, easy-to make, plant-based option for Vegan Cashew Caesar Dressing. Ready in just 5 minutes. Full of flavor, tangy and creamy. This recipe is oil-free, dairy-free, egg-free and gluten-free.
½cupWater- depending on how thick you like your dressing add more water as needed.
¼cupLemon juice
1teaspoonCapers
2tablespoonsNutritional Yeast
1tablespoonDijon Mustard
1 tablespoon Maple syrup
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
¼-1/2teaspoonSalt- we like to start with ¼ teaspoon and adjust to taste.
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to the blender and secure lid.
½ cup Raw cashews, ¼ cup Lemon juice, 1 teaspoon Capers, 2 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast, 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard, 1 tablespoon Maple syrup, ½ teaspoon Garlic powder, ½ cup Water
Select speed 1, turn the machine on and slowly increase to the highest speed.
Blend for 30 seconds; stopping to scrape the sides as needed, until dressing is smooth. Taste and adjust the seasonings, if needed
For a thicker dressing, use less water.
Store in container in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
Store - in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to a week. The dressing gets thicker as it cools, great for dipping! If needed you can always add more water to thin out if needed.Make Ahead - The caesar dressing can be made in advance you can make a quick weekday lunch or dinner.
