- Simple Ingredients & 5 Minute Prep – no need for chilling!
- It’s festive, refreshing and easy to batch - it’s a crowd pleaser with flavors like mint and cranberry that fit into any Southern celebration.
Key Ingredients & Substitutions

- White Rum - also called light or silver rum, is the traditional choice for mojito drinks. Its clean, slightly sweet flavor lets the mint and lime shine without overpowering the drink. We like Bacardi Superior, which is confirm vegan and free from animal based fining agents. We also like to use flavored rum, coconut or citrus-flavored rums work great—just adjust sweetness if needed.
- Cranberry Juice - use 100% cranberry juice for a tart flavor or cranberry cocktail for a sweeter drink. If your cranberry juice is sweetened, reduce the simple syrup to ½ ounce.
- Lime - trust us and use fresh lime juice bottled lime juice will not deliver.
- Fresh Mint - fresh mint is essential. Dried mint won’t deliver the same flavor.
- Sparkling Water - you can substitute with club soda or mineral water.

How To Make A Christmas Mojito Cocktail

STEP 1. In a highball glass, add mint leaves and lime wedge. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press them—just enough to release the mint’s oils and lime juice without tearing the leaves. Don’t over-muddle the mint—just press lightly to avoid bitterness from the stems

STEP 2. Pour in the white rum, cranberry juice, and simple syrup. Stir well to combine and dissolve the syrup evenly.

STEP 3. Fill the glass with ice then pour sparkling water over the top until the glass is nearly full. Stir gently to combine without losing too much fizz.

STEP 4. Add a few fresh cranberries, a sprig of mint, and an optional lime wheel for a festive finish.

To Make A Pitcher of Christmas Mojito:
Simply multiply the ingredients by the number of servings needed. Prepare the base in advance by mixing the white rum, cranberry juice and simple syrup. Store this mixture, covered in fridge for up to 24 hours. Just before serving pour the base over ice, then add sparkling water, fresh mint and lime wedges.
