Aunts Et Uncles (V)

Should You Rent A Car
No, riding the subway in NYC is faster, more affordable, and more convenient than renting a car. With extensive routes covering all five boroughs, it helps you avoid traffic, high parking fees, and the stress of navigating busy streets. The subway runs 24/7, making it the most efficient way to explore the city while saving money. Use apps like Citymapper (subway issues or delays) and Google maps to figure out routing. And of course there is also always the classic New York yellow cab.

Brooklyn Bridge

The iconic Brooklyn Bridge connects Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Heights. The Brooklyn Bridge was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964 and a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1972.


The Downtown Connection offers free service across Lower Manhattan and Battery Park City. All buses are easily identifiable by their red color and Downtown Connection branding.
