Atlanta is known as a Black Mecca, with a rich history of Black excellence via the civil rights movement and a legacy of education in students of color at Atlanta’s own Spelman College, Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University. Supporting Black-owned businesses is a part of Atlanta's DNA, a part of the culture, especially during Juneteenth and Black History Month.
Whether you’re at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Coca-Cola Museum, attending a service at Ebenezer Baptist Church or you’re a local ATLien, you’ll find plenty of good vegan eats to satiate your appetite.
Discovering Black-owned businesses to support is always a win. Here’s our guide to Black-owned vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants, coffee & tea shops to support both local restaurants in Atlanta and OTP (outside the perimeter).
