What Is Vegan Fish Made Of?
Vegan fish is a plant-based meat substitute to replace traditional animal based fish. Vegan fish can be made from a wide range of ingredients such as, textured wheat protein like Gardein's Ultimate plant-based F'sh, pea protein from Creative Pea, carrots, konjac root, soy protein by Oshi, jackfruit from Jack & Annie's and even rice. For the prepackaged varieties like Juicy Marbles plant-based fish filet, the main ingredient is mycoprotein. Mycoprotein is a protein rich nutrient food made from fermented fungi.

These plant-based fish filets are high in protein, high in Omega-3 and Vitamin B6 and B12.

Review
Juicy Marbles plant-based Cod is a collaboration between them and Revo Foods, allowing vegan foodies in the US to try this yummy fish alternative.
Now, It's been over 20 years since the last time I tasted fish, Both Nija and I are really fond of vegan fish filet brands like Gardein's Ultimate plant-based, crispy breaded F'sh. But I feel like this is a pretty good substitute, especially if you're trying to avoid the carbs from the breading or just want a fish substitute with few ingredients.
We've enjoyed a decent amount of the store bought, home made recipes and restaurant made plant-based fish, and Juicy Marbles plant-based Cod, while a little mushroomy, is a light and tasty bite.
Taste: The Juicy Marbles plant-based Cod has a good flavor, that's light on the brininess, slightly sweet and contains the right amount of Umami. It has enough of a light flavor that it could easily work with a lot of fish based recipes.
Texture: The plant-based Cod has a tender texture that's soft to a fork but firm enough that it doesn't fall apart when putting it on a plate. It has a slight flaky mouthfeel that is lightly creamy, but not mushy or rubbery.

Recommendations
They're pricey but the taste and texture are good. We'll order again for a special occasions or when we want something like a vegan baked cod dish. But it's a little too pricey for a weekly rotation.
